Poppy Preschool (Paula’s Preschool) has entered a touch rugby team in our local competition on Wednesday nights at a park near our house….. so we went down to support them and had a picnic tea.

Surprisingly, Adrienne’s horse Viewed won the Melbourne Cup at 46 to 1! If only we had $100 on that! Our other results were Yogi’s horse Cest La Guerre was third, GranJan’s horse, Mad Rush was 7th and Poppy’s horse, Honolulu was LAST!

We had a fun morning at our Hips & Lips Mums’ Group at Jester House feeding the eels. We had fluffies and gingerbread men for morning tea and met a visitor, Harriet, also having a fun morning exploring Nelson with her parents.
