The Nayland College Year 10 drama class performed Bad Jelly and we loved it! Poppy had her photo taken with Tim & Rose.

We had a visit from Yogi’s brother Arthur and his wife Carol today whilst they are on holiday in Nelson for Carol’s birthday. Poppy made her a card and Arthur played ‘elephant hands’ with her….

This afternoon we went to the Club Waimea kid’s Christmas party and had fun playing games, doing the limbo, watching Andre the Magician, getting a present from Santa and having dinner.

Unfortunately the heavens opened this morning and the parade was a very wet one this year. We still had fun and Poppy collected some balloons & candy.

Poppy’s end of year Jazz It Up ballet show was on today – however, there were professional photographers and videographers so I couldn’t take any footage. Here are some photos of her backstage… And the video of her dress rehearsal the day before….
music breakup party
Our preschool music class has finished for the year and had a Christmas party complete with bouncy castle, grass-sledding, carols, party food & a lolly scramble.

Our yearly Christmas tradition of choosing a tree from the Red Baron Tree Farm happened today… and Yogi helped us bring it home. The decorating was fun and Poppy was enthusiastic about getting all the baubles distributed around the little tree we chose.
