Poppy was so desperately waiting for the opening night of her dancing show with Peta Spooner’s Wakatu Dance Theatre. nukes of hazard concert

After spending a term learning the ukulele with Roger Lusby, Poppy was excited to watch the Nukes of Hazard ukulele group from Auckland at their Kids’ Concert at Fairfeild House this weekend.  They had a fun visit with several workshops and performances.  I wish I had an extra $20 for their CD.  I’ll be looking …

rock & roll show

Poppy loved Tom Sharplin and his band in concert and sang along to the old favourites.  She particularly enjoyed watching Karen Davy and all her wonderful glittery rock & roll outfits.  She used to be a Dolly Parton impersonator – and brought Poppy up on stage during her Que Sera Sera number.  Peter Wood on …
