We have decided to try sign language for babies with Poppy and we’ve started learning some of the initial signs from the www.baby-talk.co.nz website. It will be very interesting to see if Poppy starts picking up the signs and whether she can use them in context before she is able to talk. We bought their book from trademe and it came with a free laminated quick reference chart! Their website says your baby is ready to learn signing once they can clap their hands and wave goodbye.
