After scoring some great grabaseat tickets, we had an adventure vacation in Mount Maunganui! Our cabin at the Top10 Holiday Park at Papamoa Beach was amazing – we had very comfortable nights and Poppy LOVED the top bunk! We had lots of beach time, explored the town, went to an animal park and waterfalls plus enjoyed walking around the mount and swimming in the hot pools.
On the way home we spent an afternoon in Wellington at Te Papa and met up with Cheryl & Justin as well as Jane, Ella & Erin. Poppy was invited to hand out the lollies on the AirNZ flight home – she really took that job seriously!
Motherhood is about raising - and celebrating - the child you have, not the child you thought you would have. It's about understanding that she is exactly the person she is supposed to be. And that, if you're lucky, she just might be the teacher who turns you into the person you are supposed to be.
