performance week

Alice in Wonderland by the new Body and Soul drama company was amazing.  We loved the venue at Fairfield House and the performance was excellent.  Winnie the Pooh at the Tahuna Kindy fundraiser was a little disappointing this year… we’ve loved the Jungle Book and Puff the Magic Dragon the past two years, but this time the ticket cost didn’t correspond to the delivered performance.  Into the Woods at the School of Music was fantastic – Poppy dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood and we’ve been singing along to the soundtrack ever since.  We were lucky to have front row seats at the final night of Oliver and it was fabulous!  I loved Fagan, Nancy and Bumble’s performances and full credit to the cast for their WONDERFUL singing!  Well done kids – I can’t wait till Poppy is old enough to join in.

  • Motherhood is about raising - and celebrating - the child you have, not the child you thought you would have. It's about understanding that she is exactly the person she is supposed to be. And that, if you're lucky, she just might be the teacher who turns you into the person you are supposed to be.
