Another adventure for the Fords! We have a wonderful cousin and a school friend and their families in Invercargill and both invited us to visit!
Our grabaseat tickets were purchased months ago – and fortuitously we landed the day of the Ranfurly Shield parade!
Yogi was a school boy in Invercargill the last time the Stags won the Ranfurly Shield and watched the ticker-tape parade from Dee Street just like Poppy did 50 years later.
To top it off, this photo was taken and appeared in the Southland Times the next day!
