On the way to Golden Bay for the weekend we stopped at Hawkes Lookout and ran up the path to the platform to see the view of Nelson below. Poppy had a blast on the path and picked flowers for Minnie Mouse on the way back. As this was the top of the hill, we stopped for some fresh air and exercise so we could enjoy the downhill stretch into Takaka.
