Poppy’s first Halloween party was with her friends from the Nelson USA Club at MacMillans on a rainy Sunday afternoon. She wore her red Japanese Kimono with her Daddy’s SpongeBob SquarePants candy bucket. Although she didn’t have any candy, she enjoyed playing with her dressed-up friends – particularly Zac in his Eyeore outfit!

Lucky for Mummy, she was given some hand-me-downs for Poppy that included this fun pink table and chair. Poppy can get in and out of the seat by herself.

Yogi’s favourite treat for visiting kiddies is a turn steering his big, red ride-on mower. Poppy is not quite big enough to enjoy this adventure yet, but she got to sit on it while it was turned off….

As Poppy is now travelling to every nook and cranny, Yogi made this wonderful fireplace protector to keep everyone safe. His artistic poppy painting is much appreciated!

While in Tahunanui taking the turtle photo, we stopped for afternoon tea at the beach cafe and played in the playground. This was Poppy’s first time going down a big slide by herself!
