Great Aunty Alison has been playing carols on the piano for 7 years for the MAX club and this year she invited Yogi to come and entertain as well. Poppy and Adrienne came too for some singing and fun. Yogi and Poppy were practicing their music beforehand in the foyer. Yogi played and sang and danced and Alison kept everyone in tune. Poppy was very well behaved and joined in the singing and dancing.
I booked some fun toys for Poppy while the Toy Library is closed over the Christmas break. Here she is playing with her ride-in car and her spring bug in the sunshine.
What an exciting mail drop today – a big package from Grandpa Bill in Indiana to go under the Christmas tree. Poppy spent some time ripping off all the stickers and climbing up and over it in anticipation!
Poppy has learned a few new signs….. I’ll keep them updated here so we can remember her progress.
Milk, Dog, Phone, All Finished, Hat, Bath, Eat, Bye Bye
The only real word that she uses in context so far is “Mum Mum Mum”. She loves to point at things and often says “ooooohhhhhh” to interesting things as she points.
It can be a very colour-coordinated site on the washing line at 16 Cautley Street some days…..
Poppy invited GranJan & Yogi to her end of year Christmas Party at her Tiny Tots Day Care. Anthony, the owner, cooked a wonderful BBQ and everyone had a lovely time in the sun.
