Poppy now wants to do burnouts in my Toyoto Echo! We watched the crazy boys and their toys at the Nelson Car Show on a sunny Sunday today – and we voted for the red Caddy as the people’s choice award.
GranJan & Yogi gave us a yummy fruit basket for Valentine’s Day so we made a picnic out of it whilst watching the cars.

After scoring some great grabaseat tickets, we had an adventure vacation in Mount Maunganui! Our cabin at the Top10 Holiday Park at Papamoa Beach was amazing – we had very comfortable nights and Poppy LOVED the top bunk! We had lots of beach time, explored the town, went to an animal park and waterfalls plus enjoyed walking around the mount and swimming in the hot pools.

On the way home we spent an afternoon in Wellington at Te Papa and met up with Cheryl & Justin as well as Jane, Ella & Erin. Poppy was invited to hand out the lollies on the AirNZ flight home – she really took that job seriously!

Completing all the steps herself, from peeling the apples to cutting out the decoration in pastry for the top – Poppy enjoyed using her birthday baking gifts.

Now that’s she four years old, Poppy was very excited to open her own bank account at Westpac bank.

On Nelson Anniversary Day, 2010, Miss Poppy Ford turned 4 years old. She was so excited and had been counting down for over a week. She had planned her special day to do lots of fun things – ending in her birthday party on the beach with a BBQ afterwards.
