The temperature was blistering hot in Nelson at over 30 degrees on Christmas Day, 2012. Poppy opened her presents and dressed up in her new clothes to sing at church then we visited some friends before hitting the road to Picton. On the way we stopped at the Pelorus River to cool off then enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner at Ma and Pa’s with Yogi & GranJan. More summer backyard fun with Jack and an early night after way too much sugar! Boxing Day was incredibly hot again and Poppy spent lots of time playing with Chelsea next door before we headed back to Nelson
