Poppy has been learning to play the piano with Yogi – today she decided to give a solo performance.

Poppy enjoys her once a day activity of checking the mail.  She is confidently getting down the front steps and waves to passing cars while she is at the mailbox.  On the way back she will sometimes water the garden or pick a lemon off the tree.

We had a visit today from a neighbour who is a retired hairdresser. She gave Adrienne the confidence to give Poppy’s hair a trim in the bath while it was wet.  Now that it’s dry, I’m not sure how good a job it is – however, Poppy looks less like a scarecrow!  For her next …

Mummy bought Poppy some baby spoons to assist in self-feeding.  Here she is trying out her new spoon with some yoghurt.

Poppy loves shoes – her own and others.  She says “shoes” quite clearly and often bring me a pair to help her put them on.  Sometimes I find her attempting to walk around in a pair of shoes I have just taken off.   Here she is trying on my running shoes and seeing how many steps she can …
