Every year the Tasman District Council host a Teddy Bears’ Picnic down at Washborn Gardens. Last year was really fun so we braved the weather and attended again this year. Today we sent Fred a video Happy Birthday message with singing and recorder playing – as well as messages from some of his friends here in NZ.
choosing our christmas tree
On the way out to the farm for GranJan’s birthday, we stopped at the Christmas Tree farm near their house to choose our 2007 tree. After picking it up the next morning on the way to the airport – we started decorating after getting home from watching the planes.
jo’s present
Yogi & GranJan’s lovely neighbour Jo came to wish them well on their travels and gave Poppy her Christmas present… a lovely Beatrix Potter book. Thanks Jo!
granjan’s birthday
We had a celebration dinner at the farm the night before GranJan’s birthday as she was leaving for Sydney on her birthday the next day. Poppy tried to sing Happy Birthday with us – she just sings the word HAPPY over and over.
