GranJan, Adrienne & Poppy took a daytrip over to see Ma & Pa in Picton for a Mother’s Day lunch on Saturday.

We stopped at a park on the way home for Poppy to have a slide…

Poppy has started to play food-related and cooking games. She enjoys putting things in her ‘microwave’ and beeping – as well as preparing meals for Mummy on a plate and forcing her to eat plastic bits of food!Â

I was really surprised Poppy was jumping with both feet off the ground at only 15 months old. This is a milestone usually reached between age 2 and 2 1/2. Her trampoline practice has allowed her the freedom to fall and not get hurt so she is attempting lots of different moves. It was fun to get out on the tramp today after several days of rain.

Nathan has been at Tiny Tots for as long as Poppy and they often play together. Here they are painting together - and tasting paint together!

Adrienne has been training for several months to walk the Subway Nelson Half-Marathon with her friends Janine and Donnalea. She completed it in 3 hours 33 minutes and was very proud of the achivement. Poppy was there watching with GranJan, Yogi and Anya. Here is a photo taken early that morning before Mummy left for the start. The next photo is after 21 kms at the finish line where Subway sandwiches were handed out to the over 400 participants.

Today Poppy’s USA passport arrived to join the New Zealand passport that arrived last week. As promised, we had a Passport Party at the farm and Poppy was surprised with a lovely rocking horse from GranJan & Yogi. He is named Rocky and Poppy loved him instantly. We celebrated with rousing renditions of America the Beautiful and the All Black’s Haka.
