Poppy did so well in the colouring competition she entered that they called us to say she won a prize!  Here she is accepting her special prize and reading her new Sally the Snail book…

We met with Carole today to complete Poppy’s 2 year old Plunket check-up.  She is around 75% for her weight and height and all her physical and mental development is perfectly normal.  Carole was pleased with her imaginative play and her ability to learn something new.  Poppy also counted to 20 for her!  After Poppy stepped off the scale she said “Mummy’s turn!”

Ayla and Jana came over to play this morning!

And NeeNe came for dinner and played with Poppy while Mummy cooked.  They made playdough families.  Poppy ate all her dinner so was allowed to have some jelly while she had her bath….

To celebrate Yogi & GranJan’s 39th wedding anniversary we took them to play squash!  Yogi played a great game with Steve and then played GranJan.  Adrienne tore her calf muscle during her game with Steve, so had to sit with an icepack for awhile.  Poppy loved batting balloons around with her racquet and generally had a fun time.  After our games we went home and prepared a special anniversary lunch complete with sparkling grape juice in wine glasses.

Poppy had a lovely time at Richmond New Life Church on Easter Sunday morning.  The Kidzone programme had an Easter Egg Hunt and Poppy found lots of eggs to put in the basket.  Then they gave the kids a paper bag with their name on it and filled them with chocolate eggs!!!
