While Adrienne was doing her toy library duty in Richmond, a friend from high school walked in with her three children and recognised her! It was an amazing coincidence so we arranged to get together at MacMillans and catch up. The kids all had a good play together and Zeke tried to take a photo of us all…. well done!
Poppy’s friend from Tiny Tots, Nathan was being babysat by Adrienne’s printer, Lisa who lives up the road from the farm (small world, huh) so they came over to see us after dinner. We did a tour of the animals and fed the chickens – then Nathan and Poppy splashed in Lily’s water until they were both soaking wet.

…before pushing each other around in their jammies.
Our Tiny Tots BBQ was cancelled due to weather so Anthony invited us to the Preschool BBQ the next afternoon. We arrived early so Poppy could have a bounce on the castle before the big kids arrived.
When it was time to serve the sausages from Anthony’s BBQ, Poppy lined up and Sarah made her one. Sarah will be Poppy’s supervisor at Preschool from February next year when she turns two.
We joined our Hips & Lips group at Natureland this morning. Poppy enjoyed feeding the animals – especially the KuneKune. She also liked washing her hands at the basin – one of her newest accomplishments.

Another busy morning at Appleby Playcentre!
Today GranJan brought Lily to visit the kids at Tiny Tots. Lily loved playing with all the toys and eating the leftovers from lunch. She also had a play in the tent with Nathan & Poppy before having a lie in the sun.
