While GranJan & Yogi were away in Sydney, we farmsat and completed a detailed routine each day to satisfy all the animal and plant requirements.

Give Tonto an apple and let him out for a run around…

Feed the chickens…

Feed Lily the piggy…

Have a wee ride on the Gator…

Walk the plank…

Stop and smell the poppies…

Turn on the sprinkler to water the vege garden…

Have a rest on the swing seat…

…until Lily makes her way up to play…

Turn off the water, put Tonto back in his paddock and dig a few stones…

Every year the Tasman District Council host a Teddy Bears’ Picnic down at Washborn Gardens. Last year was really fun so we braved the weather and attended again this year. The bouncy castle and throwing activities were popular, as was Santa when he arrived with a big bag of lollies….. after a little rest and watching all the clown perform, it started to rain so we ran back home! We are looking forward to next year!

On the way out to the farm for GranJan’s birthday, we stopped at the Christmas Tree farm near their house to choose our 2007 tree.

After picking it up the next morning on the way to the airport – we started decorating after getting home from watching the planes.

Yogi & GranJan’s lovely neighbour Jo came to wish them well on their travels and gave Poppy her Christmas present… a lovely Beatrix Potter book. Thanks Jo!

We had a celebration dinner at the farm the night before GranJan’s birthday as she was leaving for Sydney on her birthday the next day. Poppy tried to sing Happy Birthday with us – she just sings the word HAPPY over and over.
