We’ve been practicing for the Festival Finale concert of the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra – right here in Nelson! They posted chord charts on their website and invited locals to bring their ukes down to the Festival Finale and play along! It was a really fun long weekend afternoon and Poppy took advantage of the kids stuff on offer too.

Finally Lily is allowed to leave her Mummy and come to live with GranJan and Yogi on the farm. We had a fun time in the sun with the adorable wee piggy – she loves a cuddle. Poppy also had a ride on her Gator and grabbed a lift with Yogi when it started to rain and we rushed inside.

While Mummy organises Poppy’s school bag, she watches Disney Channel for a few minutes before we head out the door.

It’s starting to feel like spring at the beach! We’ll be smothering suncream on each other in no time!

While going to the Stoke New World to grocery shop today we came across a little community market so we stopped to browse. There is a really cool sculpture nearby and Poppy was impressed. Her Daddy thought it was cool when he saw it for the first time too.
