Today we met our Mum’s group at the Adventure Playground Chipmunks. As we left, Poppy decided she needed a little sit down on the coffee shop sign!

It was only a week ago that I introduced Poppy to whipped cream! She was very interested in the process of pouring and then beating. When she was allowed to have a taste, she dipped her finger in and wiped it on her cheek! They only cream she has known till now has been sun cream!!!! Needless to say, when we had cream with dessert at the farm a few days later, Yogi let her lick the beater and she was HOOKED!
emma’s boots
Although they are too big, Poppy was desperate to try on the boots Emma ‘handed-down’ to her. She clomped around in them for ages. One of Poppy’s routine tasks is to pull Mummy’s shoes out of the closet and try them all on.
chiropractor
Unfortunately, Poppy had a crashing fall yesterday that I decided might be worth seeing my awesome Chiropractor about. He adjusted her neck and back and relieved some tension. She behaved really well for such an unusual experience. She lay on his table perfectly relaxed with her head down on the paper just like an adult. It may have helped that she remembered Mummy doing the same thing a couple of months ago after hurting a shoulder playing Badminton. She also remembered the beautiful cat Mushroom who sunbakes at the office.

At our church holiday playcentre today Poppy learned a cool new way to paint! Megan helped her roll a paint-covered marble over paper at the bottom of a shoebox – the colour trails were really cool.

Poppy has been increasingly confident climbing ladders and using playground equipment at our local parks. She often says “PLAY PARK SLIDE” and she especially likes to copy older kids and the way they play.
