Poppy Ford: YouTube Video Editor

Poppy is very interested in the camera now – she wants to see the picture I’ve taken in the digital memory. She is also trying very hard to SMILE on command!  She loves looking through her baby album and often brings it to me as her ‘book’ to read together.

We had a fun evening tonight!  Josh’s dad Mark invited Yogi to host his supermarket’s grocery grab promotion in Motueka.  So we all drove up after school and Poppy played in the park nearby and fed the birds while Yogi did his preparation.   Then we watched Mark and Yogi draw all the winners out of the box and finally watched the grocery grab winner rush around the store for 1 minutes worth of anything they could grab and throw in their trolley!  After Yogi finished we all went for pizza down the road and drove home tired and full.

Poppy has learned to help blow bubbles at school.

We have only just discovered a menu item at many cafes for kids called a ‘Fluffy’.  It’s frothed up milk served in a cup and looks just like the grown-ups drinks.  Poppy LOVES them.  GranJan can make her own at home in her cappucino machine.

Poppy is now aware of her own tolieting sensations so it’s time to start potty training!  She is doing really well and gets a stamp on her hand when she asks for the potty and successfully uses it.  When she uses the toliet (with an insert seat) she gets to pull off some paper and flush the loo as her reward!  She says ‘looloo’ ‘weewee’ and ‘poopoo’ to get her message across.  It’s going to be a wonderful celebration when we have no more nappies in the house!
