Mummy found this amazing trike on trademe.co.nz for sale in Nelson and bought it for Poppy.  She is learning to get on and off it and loves playing with the sirens and flashing lights.  She isn’t able to push the pedals yet, but she propels herself along with her feet.

Poppy is trying out her new red headband to see if she can keep it on her head.  We are cooking an omelet together in the kitchen and Poppy is helping.

At Chipmunks Adventure Playground today Poppy went down the big slide by herself again!  She had fun with her friends and enjoyed the ball pit in the babies area.

Josh turned four and invited Poppy to his pirate party.  Poppy was really excited to get dressed up and she learned how to blow a party horn while she was there.  She also played with Josh’s bikes and his Thomas Train and enjoyed all the party games including the Walk the Plank over a paddling pool!  Sarah make Josh an amazing pirate boat cake which Poppy really enjoyed!

This is a typical afternoon on the farm with GranJan.  Poppy has a snack and a bottle while GranJan works in the kitchen.

Then they change into their gumboots for a winter’s day outside.

Poppy collects the wheat to feed the chickens – and then runs around after them for awhile before checking to see if there are any eggs to bring inside.

 

GranJan and Poppy walk through the paddocks saying hello to the sheep, horse, cows and birds and checking everything is running smoothly.

 

Then Poppy comes inside and plays on the stairs – up and down, up and down while Yogi plays her a tune on the piano.
