Poppy enjoyed Mum’s Group today at the Grape Escape. She loves the big old tractor in the playground. We were also lucky enough to watch the Alpacas moving from one paddock to the other.
last day
Unfortunately, Poppy’s daycare friend Nicholas is leaving town and today was his last day at Tiny Tots. Nicholas has been one of Poppy’s special friends because he often wears his Wiggles t-shirts and brings his Wiggles backpack to preschool. Poppy can’t wait to hug him hello when he is dressed as the Fifth Wiggle! We’ll miss you Nick! Have fun in Christchurch.

At MOPS today Jenny Dravitzki, our local Active Movement Advisor, came to speak about activities for our wee ones to encourage brain development and fitness levels. Poppy and I have been going to Jenny’s workshops and classes since Poppy was born so we know and love her advice. Today she gave an amazing presentation with so many great ideas. One I couldn’t wait to try out was putting shaving foam on the bath tub! Poppy loved it and was having such a great time!

As the frosts are creeping into our Richmond mornings, we have to get rugged up to go out. Here is Poppy ready for church on Sunday morning – and then playing at Ayla’s on Monday morning.
play workshop
Today Poppy was invited to participate in a play workshop where local preschool teachers were training. They had their learning seminar in the morning and then each centre was asked to invite a child they could watch playing in the afternoon. Poppy had a really fun time moving through all the activities they set up. She provided lots of material for their evaluations and was enthusiastic about the whole session.
