Poppy has been playing with newborn lambs for the first time! GranJan has several sets of twins and triplets from her Whitshire sheep on the farm this season and Poppy has been able to visit them. Here she is with Yogi learning about lambs – and getting a little kiss from one of them!

At seven months and two weeks old, Poppy said her first real words today…. “Mum Mum Mum” & “Dad Dad Dad”. I don’t think she really knows what she is talking about – but she certainly gets lots of positive reinforcement for those words! Our next step is to start signing some words and practicing …
mops cafe visit
At MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) this week we visited MacMillians cafe and played with the ducks and the fluffy bunny. GranJan came along to have some cake and talk to all the Mums about bibs and nappies.

Poppy loves her bath and spends lots of time pulling her pink octopus suction toys from the sides of the tub.

Today we hosted our Hips & Lips Mums Group and fed the chickens on the farm. Poppy brought all her toys for her friends to play with and everyone had a great time.
