After a storm surged through Nelson, Tahuna Beach was covered in driftwood and the perfect place for some new experiences. We didn’t take any plastic toys – just used the wood to learn about halves and quarters, some texture words including smooth and rough, and forming some letters and shapes in the sand.

Yes, GranJan is now the proud and delighted owner of Lacey, the spoodle.  She came over for a visit and a little nap with Poppy tonight….

Poppy has made it very clear she loves to dance – to any kind of music – and preferably with a floaty dress and dancing shoes on!  Today Yogi put up an old mirror that was no longer needed on the wall so Poppy can practice her moves.
